Questions about paid advertising
Can I just start an ad campaign to get more website visitors?
Well you can, but it's going to take more than that for your campaign to be successful. Simply paying to send traffic to your website with weak landing page or buying process will raise your cost-per-conversion and chip away at your ad budget without delivering the results you need.
How do I know what budget I should allocate to PPC?
This really depends on your sector and your growth ambitions which will naturally influence the approach we’d recommend. Competitive sectors can see high cost-per-click (CPC) rates which inevitably demand higher budgets. A monthly ad spend of £500 is the minimum for most campaigns, but we’ve managed campaign budgets of over £50,000.
How long are your contracts?
You'll see results pretty quickly, but it won't be overnight, so our minimum contract is 3 months. From there, it can depend on the scope of work we agree on, but rolling monthly contracts don't really give either you or us the time or commitment to focus on your wider strategic goals, so we'll normally define a term that's agreeable to us both.
I've used paid ads before but I didn't see the results I expected. Why might this have been?
There are several stages to each customer’s journey through a PPC campaign so the reasons why your results were disappointing could be varied. We’ll advise on your audience targeting, ad copy and landing page performance, all of which influence your return on investment.
Which type of ads are likely to perform the strongest?
This is where we’ll research your market and competitors to make suggestions that are in line with your budget and growth requirements. Ultimately though, we’ll be guided by data-led insights and react accordingly as results indicate the accuracy of your campaign.
