Creativity is Great - Britain
The UK Creative Industries Council recently launched a new government supported website, promoting the UK as the worlds creative hub. The website is part of the governments efforts to create a unified approach towards, amongst other things, digital infrastructure.
In 2012 the creative industries added a gross value of £71.4bn and accounted for 5.2% of the UK economy, with creative industries aiding in an 8.6% of UK employment growth.
With the UK seeing growth surges in smartphones and tablets, and an estimated £33.5bn spent annually on design its no wonder that creative industries such as digital website agencies are adding a huge amount of value to the UK economy.
