Digital Marketing Exec Role

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our team in a part-time position.

As a digital agency, our clients benefit from a range of services including UX design, website design and development, hosting and digital marketing. This role will deliver results for our clients by providing them with effective marketing expertise to grow their digital channels.

Working with well known businesses and brands to growing SME’s, scaling up our marketing services is central to our future growth plans. The role will include working with clients to help them craft relevant and targeted messages to their audiences, and optimise their growth with content across website and email marketing platforms. We don’t provide social media management services, but if you’re able to help us with managing our own social profiles, that would be a bonus!

The role will work alongside our managing director and project manager and include direct client contact. Typical activities will include setting up email campaigns, automations, creating engaging web copy and reviewing campaign performance.

Given the importance of content, we’re looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. You’ll understand how tone of voice can impact marketing messages, why certain keywords might be needed to support SEO, and bring experience of working with website content management systems and email marketing platforms. An understanding of looking at campaign reports and web analytics would also be an advantage, as would experience of tools such as Canva to create simple supporting graphics.

You’ll be someone who loves details, passionate about marketing and produces high quality work that drives client results. An agency environment can be fast paced, so being able to think on your feet, share your ideas confidently both with clients and our team, and juggle competing priorities.

Previous experience in an agency environment would be preferred, as would experience working with an Apple Mac. We offer a hybrid working environment with an office on the edge of Kendal town centre. As the role for now is part-time, we’re also able to offer flexibility on working hours and our open to discuss what ‘part-time’ would look like for you.

You’ll be well supported in your role, given the opportunity to make it your own with quarterly objectives and benefit from ongoing training and development.

Location and Basis

For now, this is a part-time role that will require occasional travel to our Kendal studio.

Ideally you'll be able to spend at least some of your time working in the studio alongside our team, but hybrid working is an option from day one provided you have the required skills and experience for the role.

Salary

The anticipated salary for this role is between £25 - £30k pro-rata, dependent on experience, however we welcome applications that might fall outside of this range.
