77% of UK shoppers consult reviews before buying online
A new survey of 2,000 UK consumers by Trustpilot has found that three out of four British shoppers consult online reviews before buying online.
User reviews are proven sales drivers, increasing conversions and helping to eliminate doubts from your customer’s minds. Displaying positive feedback from your customers provides proof of existing sales, and authenticity of your product or service. Additionally it can provide you with unique content for you to use in your marketing practices, and help with SEO.
Customers trust one another more than they trust you as the seller, and sharing your negative reviews as well can often work to your advantage. Demonstrating that you can deal with criticism and complaints in the right way can help your online image to be more ‘real’.
